Reference Materials – Life After Capitalism: The Meaning of Wealth, the Future of the Economy, and the Time Theory of Money by George Gilder – Nov 15

.
Traditionally, each month’s “Reference Materials” section includes, inter alia, book reviews from –

The New York Times
The Wall Street Journal
The Washington Post

Unfortunately, all three publications shirked their duty despite George Gilder’s being a well-known 83-year-old investor, economist and author of 21 well-known books.

Indeed, scouring the internet disclosed that only one well-known publication – Forbes – reviewed Life After Capitalism.

It is posted in this section.

In addition, scouring the internet disclosed that George Gilder had authored a 5,014-word article entitled “Life After Capitalism” which was published 10/14/2021 – nearly 18 months before publication of his book by the same title.

It is also posted in this section.

BTW, Yours Truly has always believed that despite all the hype, Artificial Intelligence is NOT able to think (only human beings can do that) – and, accordingly, was intrigued to discover that George Gilder’s 20th book is entitled “Gaming AI: Why AI Can’t Think but Can Transform Jobs.” [Not enough to read it, even though its title IMHO rings true.]

Respectfully submitted,

John Karls
