Examining the position of the National Educational Association (the largest union of American K-12 teachers) on "No Child Left Behind" and the 2007 decision of the U.S. Supreme Court that race could NOT be considered by the school boards of Seattle WA and Louisville KY in order to achieve diversity -- in determining whether to initiate a "Six Degrees of Separation" campaign to submit to the on-line suggestion box of our President Elect the suggestion of John Karls from November 2007 that regional (multi-district) magnet schools be employed to avoid leaving children behind while still complying with the new Supreme Court restriction (please see the November 2007 materials on "The Jena Six and the Supreme Court's Reversal of School Integration" on this bulletin board).
