Suggested Discussion Outline

Post by johnkarls »

Background Re Meeting Materials

On occasion, we are forced to focus on a topic that neither the news media nor book publishers are willing to let “see the light of day” -- using such materials as our members can assemble from news articles, court opinions, other official documents, etc.

Accordingly, meeting participants (except first-time attendees) are expected to have read the following -

(1) The Original Proposal including 3 so-called “replies” at viewtopic.php?f=746&t=2357&sid=7cf3d2a0 ... 86b8c816ce;

(2) The Suggested Answers to the Short Quiz available at viewtopic.php?f=749&t=2366&sid=7cf3d2a0 ... 86b8c816ce;

(3) The 3 Reference Materials insofar as they are relevant to the Suggested Answers to the Short Quiz. The 3 Reference Materials are available at viewforum.php?f=748&sid=7cf3d2a0534d687 ... 86b8c816ce;

(4) Website Posting - U.S. District Court Injunction Against Fed Gov Contacts With Tech Companies (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) INCLUDING THE 155-PAGE TEXT THE COURT’S OPINION – both available at viewtopic.php?f=749&t=2367&sid=7cf3d2a0 ... 86b8c816ce;

(5) Website Posting - Alleged Appeal by US Gov of Injunction Against Its Contacts With Tech Companies (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) – available at viewtopic.php?f=749&t=2368&sid=7cf3d2a0 ... 86b8c816ce; and

(6) Website Posting - Fed Gov Finally Files Its Emergency Interim Appeal of the Preliminary Injunction On July 10 With The Fifth Circuit – available at viewtopic.php?f=749&t=2369&sid=7cf3d2a0 ... 86b8c816ce.

The following Discussion Outline for our July 19 meeting is respectfully suggested --

A-1. The Original Proposal including so-called replies.

A-2. The Suggested Answers to the Short Quiz.

Part B – THE “MINISTRY OF TRUTH” (The U.S. District Court’s characterization of the U.S. Government by reference to George Orwell’s “1984” and Big Brother’s suppression of free speech via his “Ministry of Truth”)

The U.S. District Court injunction against U.S. Government contacts with Tech Companies (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) in general and in particular the Court’s list of NINE (yes, count them – NINE!!!) US Gov suppressions of free speech from page 4 of its 155-page opinion in which it proceeds to elaborate on the NINE examples based on the evidence submitted to the Court –

(1) suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story prior to the 2020 Presidential election;

(2) suppressing speech about the lab-leak theory of COVID-19’s origin;

(3) suppressing speech about the efficiency of masks and COVID-19 lockdowns;

(4) suppressing speech about the efficiency of COVID-19 vaccines;

(5) suppressing speech about election integrity in the 2020 presidential election;

(6) suppressing speech about the security of voting by mail;

(7) suppressing parody content about Defendants;

(8) suppressing negative posts about the economy; and

(9) suppressing negative posts about President Biden.
