12/16/23: RE-DIRECTING TO PRES. BIDEN OUR 10/14/2009 PLEA TO PRES. OBAMA FOR A PALESTINIAN “MARSHALL PLAN”

At our 12/13/2023 meeting, the unanimous decision was taken to re-direct to PRESIDENT Biden our 10/14/2009 plea to Pres. Obama for a Palestinian “Marshall Plan” in order to avoid a nuclear holocaust that might well lead to “the twilight of the humans.”

The re-direct proposal concerning “a Marshall Plan for Palestinians” was contained in Sec. C of the Suggested Discussion Outline for the Dec. 13 meeting – please see viewtopic.php?f=775&t=2441&sid=392b4a78 ... 15d3e7ceed.

Sec. C of the Suggested Discussion Outline contained a link to where our 10/14/2009 plea to Pres. Obama was quoted ver batim in a “Participant Comment” for our 12/13/2023 meeting - please see viewtopic.php?f=772&t=2438&sid=5fb59ec8 ... 5b2668514a.

Our procedure for re-directing is for the new plea to track the earlier one ver batim – except to up-date statistics such as, in this case, the number of refugees and the pitiful standard-of-living in Gaza and the West Bank.

Thank you for your query.

My e-mail subject “says it all” – the original Marshall Plan accompanied the long-term occupation/reformation of Nazi Germany.

You probably recall the following points from Q&A-44 through Q&A-46 of the Short Quiz for the Dec 13 meeting (please see viewtopic.php?f=772&t=2437&sid=4827b45c ... 07b432f800) –

(1) Both the PLO following Yasser Arafat’s reneging on the 2000 two-state agreement facilitated by Pres. Bill Clinton, and Hamas per its foundational documents, refuse to recognize Israel’s “right to exist” and follow Arafat’s promise never to rest until Israel “is thrown into the sea.”

(2) Israel (per War Cabinet Member Ron Dermer and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu) proposes to destroy Hamas and proceed to occupy Gaza for years thereafter, similarly to the way the U.S. occupied Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan for many years to transform German/Japanese society so that today, Germany and Japan have for nearly 8 decades, been two of America’s most loyal allies

(3) Q-46 asked whether, if the Dermer/Netanyahu plan is not implemented, the world will soon see a nuclear holocaust between Israel and Iran. [The unanimous opinion of our Dec 13 meeting participants was a resounding “yes”!!!]

It is respectfully suggested that the long-term occupation/reformation of Nazi Germany could NOT have been accomplished without the Marshall Plan which provided funds to rebuild.

And that the same was true vis-à-vis Imperial Japan though the rebuilding funding that accompanied the long-term occupation/reformation there did not (if memory serves) have a formal name like its Marshall Plan counterpart.

So, of course, our proposed Marshall Plan for the Palestinians could serve as the “sine qua non” that makes the Israeli long-term occupation/reformation of Gaza and the West Bank successful.
