The following e-mail was sent to hannity@fox.com protesting Hannity’s 1/28/2025 propaganda-interview of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Hannity’s announced 1/30/2025 interview of Zelenskyy.

It is shameful “propaganda” for, in part, the reasons set forth in the following e-mail.

But it is also shameful “propaganda” because, over the years, Sean Hannity has always trumpeted that –

• So-called news on other networks is in fact fictitious propaganda, BUT
• Hannity does everything (news and opinion) and when he does news, it is NOT misleading propaganda.

Shame on Sean Hannity!!!

BTW, our quick protest proves the necessity for our so-called Working Groups which are formed, as Sec. 8 of www.ReadingLiberally-SaltLake.org states -- “whenever a particular policy issue (1) may require immediate action on the spur of the moment (rendering addressing it at the next regular monthly meeting impractical), and/or (2) may require long-term attention.”

This e-mail to Sean Hannity (as well as the 1/8/2025 Letter to President Trump) were produced by our Working Group on “Ukraine’s 12/5/1994 Guaranty From America Of Its Independence AND Territorial Integrity If It Gave Up Its 1,900 Multiple-Warhead Nuclear Missiles.”

Dear Sir:

For many years, I have religiously watched your week-night show on Fox News.

Rarely have I disagreed with anything you have said.

And never before have I contacted you about anything you said or are doing.

HOWEVER, I was shocked and appalled last evening by your interview of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and your announcement that you would telecast the second part of your interview with him on Thursday.

Attached is the letter sent to President Trump on 1/8/2025 on the subject of Ukraine surrendering its 1,900 multiple-warhead nuclear missiles in exchange for America’s Guarantee of Ukrainian Independence and Territorial Integrity.

It was sent by a non-partisan public-policy study/action group that I have facilitated for 19 years and that specializes in what we call “Six Degrees of Separation E-mail Campaigns” in which all of our members are requested to send an already-prepared e-mail to a decision maker AND TO SEND IT TO EACH RECIPIENT’S FRIENDS TO DO THE SAME IN AN UNENDING CHAIN (which IAW the theory of “six degrees of separation” should mean millions of e-mails in the decision maker’s in box in no time flat).

Yes, last evening you did not edit out President Zelenskyy’s short and opaque one-sentence reference to America’s guarantee BUT YOU DID NOT PERMIT ANY EXPLANATION THAT THE AMERICAN GUARANTEE WAS EXCHANGED FOR SURRENDERING THOSE NUCLEAR MISSILES.

And at the close of last evening’s show, you announced that Thursday evening’s show would be dedicated to YOUR DE FACTO RETROACTIVE AMENDMENT TO THAT GUARANTEE of whether and how Ukraine will repay America $200 billion for the weapons we have provided them as if the American guarantee (which to date has not involved any American military personnel) were merely an assurance that we would sell SOME arms to Ukraine so that they MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT be able to defend themselves.

It would appear that you agree wholeheartedly with former President Barack Obama whose attitude toward Ukraine when it was attacked by Russia in 2014 effectively was –

IF UKRAINE WAS STUPID ENOUGH TO SURRENDER ITS 1,900 MULTIPLE-WARHEAD NUCLEAR MISSILES IN RETURN FOR AN AMERICAN “GUARANTEE” OF ITS INDEPENDENCE AND TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY – THEN IT DOESN’T DESERVE TO BE A COUNTRY!!!

Please believe that this e-mail is sent to you with the best of intentions that you “see the light” and alter your behavior.
