Suggested Discussion Outline

Post by johnkarls »

.

Traditionally, each month’s Suggested Discussion Outline has comprised 2-3 parts – 60 minutes for each of Parts A and B with subtractions to accommodate any Sec. C Proposals –

A. Comments About Specific Chapters of the Focus Book – going through them chapter-by-chapter.

B. Further Discussion – of Questions in the Short Quizzes for which the Suggested Answers were “What Do You Think??? Let’s Discuss!!!”

C. Possible Public-Policy Campaigns Directed At Decision Makers – flexible minutes from Sections A & B if there are any proposals.

Part C – Possible Public-Policy Campaigns

From Yours Truly –

A lot of thought has been given to the exchanges of e-mails with Solutions on the topic of “‘School Choice’ Doomed – Surrogate Parents Essential” available through the menu at viewforum.php?f=863&sid=90c02c8c30ac714 ... 60fdc29445

• How long-term surrogate-parent tutors and mentors are essential, BUT

• The “I Have A Dream” ® Programs of the 1990’s which featured such surrogate parents can NOT be provided by government.

Yes, it is tragic that Pres. Obama opposed my lawsuits against 15 of the world’s largest financial institutions for the $84 billion that they owed me and that had long since been pledged in legally-binding fashion to provide “I Have A Dream ”®Programs for 10 million inner-city children.

But in the wake of that tragedy, it would appear that the best avenue would be to challenge America’s richest billionaires to do what I was not permitted to do – though many years too late for the 10 million inner-city children that Obama condemned to a “fate worse than death.”

America’s 10 wealthiest billionaires according to the 2025 annual Forbes list are --

1. Elon Musk ($342 billion), co-founder of Tesla and SpaceX
2. Mark Zuckerberg ($216 billion), co-founder of Facebook and CEO of Meta
3. Jeff Bezos ($215 billion), founder of Amazon
4. Larry Ellison ($192 billion), co-founder of tech giant Oracle
5. Bernard Arnault and family ($178 billion), founder and CEO of LVMH, luxury goods conglomerate, holding brands such as Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co.
6. Warren Buffet ($154 billion), investor known as the "Oracle of Omaha," CEO and chairman of Berkshire Hathaway
7. Larry Page ($144 billion ), co-founder of Google and former CEO of its parent company, Alphabet
8. Sergey Brin ($138 billion), co-founder of Google and former president of Alphabet
9. Amancio Ortega ($124 billion), founder of clothing retailer Inditex, which sells Zara and various other brands
10. Steve Ballmer ($118 billion), former CEO of Microsoft

Additional Campaigns???

If anyone has any additional proposals, please post them in this “Discussion Outline” section of our website - hopefully, 24 hours in advance so that participants can give them proper consideration.

THOUGH, OF COURSE, CAMPAIGNS THAT ARE CONCEIVED SPONTANEOUSLY DURING A MEETING ARE NOT PROHIBITED.

Parts A and B

It is respectfully suggested that these parts be merged for July 16.

Yes, each of the three Short Quizzes contained many questions for which the Suggested Answer was “What Do You Think??? Let’s Discuss!!!”

HOWEVER, any and all questions other participants have are probably more important to discuss.

And, if nobody is interested in any Short Quiz question for which the answer was “What Do You Think??? Let’s Discuss!!!” then let’s not waste time on it.

SO PLEASE, EVERYONE, ADD TO YOUR LIST OF QUESTIONS, ANY SHORT QUIZ QUESTIONS THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS – AND WE’LL BE “OFF AND RUNNING” --

WITH YOURS TRULY TRYING TO PACE OURSELVES SO THAT WE COVER THE ENTIRE BOOK.

Each of the Short Quizzes and Suggested Answers are accessible through the Menu at viewforum.php?f=863&sid=e211abf2888478f ... d68122d982.
