Accordingly, there follow two sets of review questions –

A. Two Millennia of The Doctrine of Blood Guilt

1. Was The Doctrine of Blood Guilt promulgated by St. Augustine (354 AD - 430 AD)?

2. Does it hold that any Jew alive at any time including the present, is guilty of the “murder” of Christ?

3. Was St. Augustine’s Doctrine of Blood Guilt based on the Christian Bible account of Christ’s trial before Roman Governor Pontius Pilate (Matthew Ch. 27) in which the Jews in attendance allegedly proclaimed when Pilate tried to release Christ – “His blood be on us, and on our children”?

4. Was Augustine not bothered by such niceties as what percentage of the Jewish population actually attended the trial AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY, WHAT RIGHT ANYONE HAS TO CURSE THEIR OFFSPRING THROUGHOUT AN INFINITE NUMBER OF GENERATIONS?

5. Was Augustine’s Doctrine of Blood Guilt NOT revoked by the Roman Catholic Church until Vatican II in 1965?

6. Has Augustine’s Doctrine of Blood Guilt been revoked by the Orthodox Church of the Eastern Roman Empire or, after the fall of Constantinople in 1453, by any of its resulting fragments (Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Ukrainian Orthodox, etc., etc.)?

7. Has Augustine’s Doctrine of Blood Guilt caused two millennia of pogroms including Hitler’s pogrom (aka Holocaust)?

8. Is there a good historical account of Augustine’s Doctrine of Blood Guilt and its unfortunate ramifications in the famous book "The Anguish of the Jews: Twenty-Three Centuries of Antisemitism" by Fr. Edward Flannery in 1965, published shortly before the promulgation of Nostra Aetate, aka the RCC Revocation of the Doctrine of Blood Guilt (also in 1965)?

9. Was the book famous because Fr. Flannery (1912-1998) was, inter alia, the FIRST director of Catholic-Jewish Relations for the U.S. Catholic Bishops' Committee for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs, a position he held from 1967 to 1976?

10. With that appointment, were the U.S. RCC Bishops serving penance, however inadequate???

B. The BIG PALESTINIAN LIE Re United Nations Resolution 181

1. Doesn’t THE BIG PALESTINIAN LIE claim that United Nations Resolution 181 of 11/29/1947 “stole” Palestinian land and gave it to the survivors of Hitler’s Holocaust because European nations (most of the UN’s current 193 members were still European colonies in 1947) did not want their Jewish survivors to return to their European homes (the last Nazi concentration camps did NOT close until 1951 – same camps but new management which, at least, turned off the ovens)???

2. Isn’t the truth that prior to World War I, the Ottoman Empire (which owned Palestine and the rest of the Middle East for 600 years prior to WW-I) had a policy that EVERYONE, regardless of religion or ethnicity, was welcome to purchase land anywhere in the Ottoman Empire, including Palestine???

3. And didn’t many Jews purchase land in Palestine IAW the policy of the Ottoman Empire???

4. So isn’t the truth that when the United Nations decided in the wake of World War II to terminate Britain’s Palestine “Protectorate” (a sanitary name for their COLONY resulting from their defeat of the Ottoman Empire in the First World War, courtesy of Lawrence of Arabia) it created on 5/15/1947 the United Nations Special Committee On Palestine (aka UNSCOP) whose marching orders were to tabulate who owned what??? And that no major powers were members of UNSCOP???

5. And based on UNSCOP’s report of land ownership, United Nations Resolution 181 of 11/29/1947 declared that Britan’s Palestine “Protectorate” would terminate at midnight on 5/14/1948 TO BE SUCCEEDED BY AN ARAB STATE AND A JEWISH STATE BASED ON LAND OWNERSHIP – EVEN THOUGH EACH OF THE TWO COUNTRIES WOULD RESEMBLE UNCONNECTED SQUARES OF A CHEKERBOARD???

6. BTW, didn’t UNSCOP ascertain that there were only 1,077,000 Muslims out of a total population of 1,846,000 – or 58.3%??? Which reflected virtually no Jewish immigration during the British occupation 1918-1947 since the Brits were more interested in Arab crude oil than the survivors of Hitler’s Holocaust???

7. Didn’t Israel accept Resolution 181 on the basis of which it declared its independence on 5/14/1948 – and was immediately invaded by Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon???

8. Wasn’t the 1948 War for Independence the first of 4-5 FAILED “Two State Solutions” over the last 78 years (including the 2005 withdrawal from Gaza which, technically, was a "1.5 State Solution") -- because Palestinians have never accepted Israel's RIGHT TO EXIST???

9. And when those university professors coach their students to chant “From the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea, Palestine Will Be ‘Free’” – aren’t they calling for the perennial goal of Palestinians to THROW ISREALIS INTO THE SEA WITHOUT EVEN REIMBURSING THE ISRAELIS FOR WHAT THEIR ANCESTORS PAID THE PALESTINIANS’ ANCESTORS FOR THE LAND???
