Dear Friends,

As many of you will recall and Sec. 8 of www.ReadingLiberally-SaltLake.org states, we form Working Groups “whenever a particular policy issue (1) may require immediate action on the spur of the moment (rendering addressing it at the next regular monthly meeting impractical), and/or (2) may require long-term attention.”

Over our 19 years of existence, The People’s Republic of China has increasingly become the focus of our monthly meetings (participants vote for the focus of the following month’s meeting and Yours Truly does not vote except to break ties) --

Indeed, our website’s Sec. 3 (“Possible Topics for Future Meetings”) contains the following proposals regarding China --

NB: As noted above, we are also an ACTION group. Our 59 campaigns directed at national/international leaders are listed in Sec. 1 of www.ReadingLiberally-SaltLake.org. Many have been successful such as our educating the Presidents of each of the 12 Regional Federal Reserve Banks regarding the true cause of the 2008 economic meltdown (which would have occurred whether or not there had ever been sub-prime mortgages which is what the pols and media pundits falsely believe to this day was the cause) so that the Fed Regional Presidents could avoid ANOTHER ECONOMIC MELTDOWN THAT WAS ABOUT TO OCCUR IN 2018 FOR EXACTLY THE SAME TRUE CAUSE (please see viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1685&sid=e3e677508 ... 70176e70c4 for a sample letter sent to the Presidents and the 12 USPS tracking numbers).

BTW, that posting also explains the NYC Harvard Club pre-history of our organization after which our organization was molded.

(1) to undertake whatever campaigns directed at national/international leaders are appropriate; and

(2) to remain vigilant vis-à-vis China and take whatever action may be appropriate in the future.
